I am doing a research paper on the ethical handling of animals and this article was very helpful. I am by no means a vegetarian but I do believe in treating all creatures with respect. Thank you for sharing.

Good to know, Thom. They do this with all of their bagels? As far as I know, these were indeed purchased from the St. Lawrence market.

Actually, at St. Urbain bagel in the St Lawrence market in Toronto they do all three of these things. The stall is very open concept, so you can see them shaping the dough, boiling it in honey water, and the brick oven is a little hard to miss: the fire has stained the wall of the market all of the way up to its 50 foot ceiling.

I suspect what you experienced is a factory-built bagel bearing the St. Urbain name. I daresay that's even worse. Why have two different products? Is it intentional trickery? I can't say....

A very nice review on the food, price and space.

However, you should have some ethics concern for the why of relocation... Why nobody knew, why many people lost a job they loved, and etc. Clients should have more consciousness about what they consume, whatever you can say, restauration is a matter of business... Why do you think they had move for a bigger local before, not for sake of clients, for their pockets and they fail.

The chef and sommelier are prodigious, but is it sufficient ?

Pizza Pizza's website now lists the information for the fries and onion rings.

According to their listings, their fries are 2.07 calories per gram and their onion rings are 2.26 calories per gram, in case anyone was interested.
